This former business location in the middle of the centre of Scherpenzeel that had been lying fallow for years, was owned by the local construction company ‘Osnabrugge’. This is a good construction company, but this not necessarily makes one a good developer. Therefore, Ingenious was given the assignment in 2012 to turn this beautiful location into a housing location. After consultation with the municipality a plan arose to build 7 life-course sustainable houses. Since it was situated in the centre, and because of the shortage of senior owner-occupied houses, it was no surprise that the houses were sold quickly and could be built, in order to fill up a hole in the centre of Scherpenzeel by means of beautiful housing.
